The Frome RFC Academy XV travelled to local rivals Midsomer Norton RFC on a very misty Sunday afternoon. Both sides found it hard to break the deadlock in the early stages of the game.
Fromes defence held strong for large periods of the first twenty minutes with dominant tackles from Oscar Stickley and Captain, Kayden Henley.
Frome’s Scrummage would also be dominant with the platform paying dividends throughout the game.
The deadlock was finally broken when Henry Williams kicked for touch. Frome showed a superb lineout strike move that saw Harry Greenwood score under the post.
Williams added the conversion.
0-7
Scrum dominance again made it hard for Norton to get a good platform. Again, big tackles from Kimi Endicott and Neo Davies kept Midsomer Norton at bay.
