Frome 76 - 5 Swindon
Frome welcomed Swindon to The Lane on Saturday looking to build on recent wins and consolidate on third place in the league.
Frome kicked off and Swindon started strongly with their forwards carrying hard but stout defence, lead by Flanker Dave Martin and Hooker Ali Turpin stopped them in their tracks.
Once Frome got hold of the ball it was worked to the outside and swift interplay between the Cassidy brothers put Toby in for the first try of the day.
The Frome attack marshalled by half backs Billy James and John Benstead continued to find gaps in the visitors defence and the second try came when the Cassidy brothers combined again for Sam Cassidy to score.
The Frome forwards were now on top with Eliki Bainimoli and Josh Hills carrying hard into the defence the ball was worked out to Toby Cassidy again and he chipped over the defenders to touch down again.
Frome’s bonus point try came when Harrie Webster was put in space to score in the corner.
Swindon briefly came back into the game after a burst by their No8 created a chance for their Hooker to score.
There was time for one more try before half time when a rampaging Murray White burst through the defence.

Frome started the second half but met some determined defence from Swindon however after another swift attack Toby Cassidy touched down for his hat trick.
The Frome backs continued to capitalise on the platform provided by the forwards and after a mid field scrum fly half John Benstead broke through a gap in the defence but in the act of touching down was tackled illegally and the referee awarded a penalty try.
Swindon now had their best period of the game but a counter attack from deep resulted in Max Stickley racing clear to score.
The next Frome score came when Murray White broke through the defence to score under the posts.
Straight from the restart Sam Cassidy collected the kick off and after a strong run chipped the ball over the defence and collected his own kick to score again.
Frome scored again when after Oli Andrews had turned the ball over in their own 22 he released Billy James who beat a number of would be tacklers to score.
Frome’s final try came when deft hands from Dan Chaventre released replacement Winger Kye White to score from 40 metres out.
The Frome scoring was completed by 8 conversions by Max Stickley and Sam Cassidy.
