The Frome RFC 2nd XV travelled away for a top of the table clash at North Dorset RFC on Saturday to face their 2nd XV counterparts.
The side boasting eight players 18 or under as well as Academy player, Toby Cassidy making his senior debut for the club.
The top of the table fixture meant it was no surprise that this would be a tough fixture, with it going all the way to the final whistle.
North Dorset used their line out plays to good effect and Frome’s Scrum caused the home side difficulties all game.
The homeside lost a player to a red card for a head on head tackle, Frome dug deep with every player stepping up, but Tom Weston stood out with a fine attacking display and organised the back line well.

Team Manager, Andy Vince commented “So proud of these lads today. We knew it was going too hard and North Dorset didn't disappointa superb win and to top it off the win meant we sit top of the league going into the Christmas break.”
