The Frome RFC 2nd XV welcomed North Dorset RFC 2nd XV to The Lane on Saturday, and with both sides level on points at the top of the league this was set to be a thriller.
The game started with both sides clearly nervous. But the game turned out to be a battle to the end. With both sides sharing three tries each it was down to the kickers to make the difference.

So many good performances from the home side today, Alex Wakeling on the wing, the half back pairing of Cam Vince and Darrell Thompson.
The debuts from Archie Pearn and Harry Lawrence-Greenwood. An impressive effort from Osacar Stickley. But it was Kayden Henley who was awarded MoM for his tireless efforts and defensive performance.
Frome RFC 2nd XV Team Manager, Andy Vince commented “I’m so proud of this squad, everyone today put in a shift and showed why we are sitting at the top of table”.
