The Frome RFC 2nd XV welcomed local rivals Trowbridge RFC 2nds to the lane this week.

Frome did put some phases together and at times looked like they were going to get back into the game, and with Trowbridge getting two yellow cards, things started to happen for them.

On 29 mins prop Phil Clarke crashed over the line only to drop the ball before grounding it. This did however give the home side some confidence and Frome worked hard. Big carries by Jonny Harris and Stu Elliott put them in a great position, with the ball going blind and Phil Clarke feeding winger Kyle Williamson who showed great strength to power the line. The kick was missed. 8 - 28
