Frome RFC are delighted to announce the appointment of a new member to the Backroom Staff, with Rosie Knight who'll be joining the Club as the new Lead Sports Therapist.

Director of Rugby, Garrie Webster says that the recruitment of experienced and top class practitioners in the medical and conditioning areas is important if the teams wish to progress this season.

“We’re delighted to welcome Rosie into our medical team,”he said. “She brings a massive amount of experience and expertise across a range of sports and this is important for us as we prepare for another challenging season.”

We caught up with Frome RFC’s newest recruit, Rosie Knight, who had this to say about joining the Club “I’m really excited to be appointed the role of Lead Sports Therapist at Frome RFC.

I’ve previously worked for a number of local rugby clubs in the South, as well as the professional side for the Ospreys during the 2021-2022 season.

Since then I opened my own clinical practice in 2022, Shield Sports Therapy which I’ve most recently expanded to Trudoxhill in Frome.

I’m really looking forward to getting stuck back into the pitch side world of injuries again. Let’s see what the season brings…”
