On Sunday 5th May Frome RFC welcomes Clubs from across the local area for the return of the annual Frome RFC Minis Festival.
Thanks for joining us at Frome – for our Mini Festival.
No team entry fee – but £5 entry per car, in the car park. (CASH)
Coach briefing: 09:30 beside first team pitch.
Follow up briefing with main contact for each age group at 9:45, back at age group pitches. First game start: 10:00. A break is built in between each game, but please ensure games start on time, or early where possible.
All teams should be mixed and teams should follow the half-game RFU rule. Although in the programme teams are listed as Frome A and Norton B, for example – this is not an endorsement of a ‘first’ and ‘developing’ team, just the convenience of separating two teams. If timings become tight it would be sensible to not play the games, involving two teams from the same club against one another. But this may well not be an issue.
All players will receive a medal and there will be a spirit of rugby trophy awarded to one team in each age group – voted for by the teams in each age group.
We will aim to hand these out by 13:30 at the close of the festival. With the exception of U12, who will be
later, at 14:45.
