A respected figure in the rugby community, he brings a strong track record in coaching, player development, and team culture. His passion for the game and commitment to fostering local talent make him a perfect fit for Frome’s long-term vision.
Speaking on his appointment, Maunder said: "I’m incredibly honoured to take on the role of Director of Rugby at Frome RFC. I have been a member of the club since I was 6 years old and it has been a huge part of my life. The club has a fantastic history and an even more exciting future. My goal is to build on the solid foundations already in place, support our coaches and players at all levels, and help drive success on and off the pitch."

We’re confident he will play a key role in guiding the club forward, building strong squads, and deepening our connection with the local rugby community."
Maunder’s role will include oversight of all rugby operations—from senior squads to youth development—as well as strategic planning, coaching structures, and player pathways. His arrival comes at a pivotal time, as the club continues to invest in its future, both in terms of facilities and rugby performance.
