Today’s series of #GettingToKnow you questions for to Fullback Rob Sully.
| When was your first XV debut? Against Sherborne RFC away, opening game of the 2018/19 season.
| What has been your best Frome RFC moment? I know everyone has been saying this and I tried to think of something different but it’s got to be last seasons playoff against Buckingham RFC. The atmosphere was incredible!
| What Netflix show do you binge? Blue Mountain State, I think it’s been removed now but I watched it all the way through a couple of times.
| What food is your guilty pleasure? There’s definitely a few but I’d probably put chocolate at the top of the list.
| What is your prematch song? I don’t really have a prematch song, I just go with whatever the guys stick on.
| What advice would you give someone getting into rugby union? Just get stuck in! It’s a fantastic sport and you’ll make some really good mates along the way.
| Which player, past or present would you most like to play with? Probably my Dad, he used to be my coach and would always find a fault in my game so would be nice to see how ‘perfect’ he was!
| What hobby would you like to take up? Mountain biking.
| Who is the funniest Frome RFC teammate? A few could lay claim to this title but I’d have to say James Howard.
| What sport would you play if you weren’t a rugby player? Darts or just about anything else that doesn’t involve much running.
| Favourite film? Step Brothers.
| How are you staying fit during isolation? I’ve been going out on my bike a lot.
| Who’s your sporting hero? Lawrence Dallaglio, I played number 8 when I was younger and he was just a brilliant player.
| Do you have any prematch rituals or superstitions? I’m not sure if it’s a superstition or just because I’m forgetful but I always put my kit into my kit bag in order of when I’ll use it to make sure it’s all there.
| What advice do you have for people during lockdown? Just get round to doing the things you don’t normally have time to do and make sure you keep in contact with the people you can’t see.
