| When was your first XV debut? against Old Culverhaysians RFC, Away on Sat 5th Sept 1981.

| What has been your best Frome RFC moment? There really have been a lot but some stand out moments: Celebration of Frome RFC Centenary 1883 - 1983. Courage Somerset Division 1 Champions and Bath Combination Cup Finalists in 1989. (Programmes pictured)

| What’s your favourite TV show do you watch? The History Channel.

| What food is your guilty pleasure? A full English and a Sunday Roast.

| What was your prematch song? The Ride of the Valkyrie, 1812 Overture

| What advice would you give someone getting into rugby union? Maintain peak fitness. Play whenever possible while you are young; It is a young man's game.

| Which player, past or present would you most like to play with? This is a hard one to limit numbers as the Club has produced some outstandingly talented players. During the '88/89 Season five first team players represented the Bath Combination XV. There could have been more! Mark Edwards & Kevin Hewton represented the Senior Somerset County XV. Other players of merit were Chris Godwin, Gary Jamieson, Matt Pearce all my second row partners. Phil Powell,
Damian Kelly for his inspirational & motivational captaincy.

Players outside my era are as follows;
James Alvis, Dan Seal, Neil Collis, Keith Norris, Dan Martland, Chris Wall. There are very many others worthy of note.

| What hobby would you like to take up?
Battlefield exploration, Geneaology.

| Who is the funniest Frome RFC teammate? Bill Spencer, Mark Hills & others

| What sport would you play if you weren’t a rugby player? I enjoyed playing village cricket & squash (a very physical game with Gary Meldrum!)

| Favourite film? Reach for the Sky, Lawrence of Arabia, Zulu, A Bridge too Far, Every which Way but Loose, Heartbreak Ridge, Police Academy.

| How are you staying fit during isolation? Walking the dog; Need to do more!

| Who’s your sporting hero? Martin Johnson, Willie John Mc Bride, Bill Beaumont, Nigel Horton

| Did you have any prematch rituals or superstitions? Always clean boots & kit every match & keep socks up!

| What advice do you have for people during lockdown? Use time constructively; Look after each other.
