Today we are #GettingToKnow Frome RFC’s Trevor Osborne.
| When was your first XV debut? I have only played senior rugby for Frome RFC once whilst on tour in Torquay. We played Brixham in 2003 and I came on on the wing for the last 20 minutes.
| What has been your best Frome RFC moment? The play off last season and as a coach in 2005 when Frome under 16s beat a Sherborne side who were Dorset and Wilts county champions. Four of the players from that team went on to play for Frome 1st XV.
| What Netflix show do you binge Or fabricate TV show? Any of the NCIS franchises.
| What food is your guilty pleasure? Home made Scones Jam and cream.
| What is your prematch song? I don’t have one I will listen to whatever is playing.
| What advice would you give someone getting into rugby union? Play as long as you can and get involved with all aspects of the club.
| Which player, past or present would you most like to play with? My son Daniel and Will Button who played in the same junior side which I coached.
| What hobby would you like to take up? Golf if I had more time.
| Who is the funniest Frome RFC teammate? Gary Jamieson when I first got involved with the club and Elliott Bowler now.
| Favourite film? Zulu.
| How are you staying fit during isolation? Trying to walk at least 2k everyday.
| Do/did you have any prematch rituals or superstitions? Full English breakfast with My wife.
| What advice do you have for people during lockdown? Keep safe and adhere to the guidelines and keep in touch with family and friends.
