#GettingToKnow Frome RFC’s George Benstead.

| When was your first XV debut? In the season of 2010-2011 Trowbridge RFC away.

| What has been your best Frome RFC moment?So many to pick from.....from my younger years, Mini and Junior clubman in 07-08. Playing at The Rec twice and winning on both occasions and Captaincy of the first team. However, the playoff last season was amazing, from the build up to it to the day itself was an amazing day proud part of it.

| What Netflix show do you binge? The Crown.

| What food is your guilty pleasure? I know this will be a shock I LOVE FOOD!! Has to be Steak (rare) with chips onion rings garlic mushrooms grilled tomato and salad don't forget the peppercorn sauce, Love Bailey's cheesecake, Takeaways, Indian and Mexican.

| What is your prematch song? Lose yourself Eminem.

| What advice would you give someone getting into rugby union? Get involved you make friends for life in more than sport it's a family also listen and push yourself your be surprised what you can achieve.

| Which player, past or present would you most like to play with? I would have to say would love to have a game with the old man would of loved a run out with him.

| What hobby would you like to take up? Canoeing.

| Who is the funniest Frome RFC teammate? It's more of a collection of players when these 4 are together they are hilarious James Howard, Aaron Blaney, John Benstead and Elliot Bowler.

| What sport would you play if you weren’t a rugby player? Hockey was my other sport at school however would like to give boxing a go and strongman.

| Favourite film? Gladiator love it.

| How are you staying fit during isolation? Still working so Weights session before work some sort of CV work in the evening also walks at the weekend and gardening with the kiddies.

| Who’s your sporting hero? Martin Johnson great leader and Eddie hall beast.

| Do you have any prematch rituals or superstitions? Check my kit 3-4 times before leaving home then again when getting it out the car.

| What advice do you have for people during lockdown? Enjoy the family time stay at home stay safe don't be tempted to go out the more of us who stay at home the quicker we can back to rugby and try not to drink before midday.
